For this post, I will be talking about major updates of the project by answering some of the questions asked by students and my professor. These questions were picked out based on their frequency, importance, or requirements for the assigned blog posts. Both the questions and responses will aim to help me reflect on the progress of the activity, as well as exploring if topics or digital tools need to be changed or new ones need to be implemented. Below are the questions and responses:
What’s your current status on the project?
The chapters, sections, topics, introductions, and video uploads have all been taken care of since the last post. As of now, I am looking to implementing the activities, questions, and digital tools.
What are you working on currently?
As of now, the activities. I have been going through each and every topic, and so far chapter one is all done, with chapter two nearing its completion by the end of this week.
What are you planning on doing next?
Logically speaking, the critical thinking questions. The activities in each topic will lead into the critical thinking questions in the end. This will be the tough part, as I want each question to really have the user be challenged with their answers.
When do you think the project will be concluded?
I aim to work on it up until the final day. I want this project to be a success and so I plan on putting as much time into it as possible.
What have other students said about the digital history projects?
There’s been positive feedback so far. I’ve had some question the aim of the activity and the lack of media, but both were satisfied with the responses I have given them.
What has the professor said about the project?
So far he has high praise of the topic. Not much has been discussed as of late. Looking forward to hearing future responses of his though.
