The NASA website on Flickr seems to allow a wide variety of licenses, which gives full control to the content creator through an account. Its Creative Commons license, for example, allows the content creator to retain control over their images, giving options on how their content can be used Under their “All Rights Reserved” section, the holder of the copyright has all rights provided by the copyright law on Flickr. These include the right to make, utilize and distribute copies of their work. If any of the content is wanted to be used by someone else, the author must be first contacted and given permission to use their content to avoid copyright infringement. Other special licenses are provided.
